• Charlie Burnett-Cooke

Born and raised in Oxfordshire, I’ve been attending gigs in and around Oxford for nearly 20 years. Live music has always been a central part of my life, and it's a passion that now informs much of my professional work.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across a range of roles at Truck Music, stepping into the position of Operations Manager in 2023. In this role, I oversee the financial, staff, and strategic management of both Truck and its in-house coffee shop, Mostro Coffee, with a particular focus on live events and the development of our online retail presence.

Truck has long been a key player in the Oxfordshire music scene. Our Witney shop opened in 2004, followed by our Cowley Road location in 2011. Since stepping into the Operations Manager role, I’ve worked to further embed Truck as a cornerstone of the local music community, creating a platform for emerging local artists as well as touring acts.

I’m focused on expanding this impact by supporting the creation of more live music and arts spaces in Oxford. I’m driven by a commitment to fostering a thriving, inclusive cultural community - one that reflects the creativity, diversity and rich history of the city.
